The state-of-the-art factory has been located in Parma since the city can provide highly qualified and skilled workforce for the food processing industry. In order to recognize the centuries-old tradition in food production of this region, the European Union located one of its agencies, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), in Parma.
The department in Parma is responsible for production, administration, pilot studies, and laboratory research and control.
